Job Title/Designation:  Accounts Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  2. Prepare accurate year-end financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  3. Handle GST-related matters, including responding to notices and ensuring timely compliance.
  4. Manage and oversee the process of issuing and managing foreign Letters of Credit (LCs) and understand the related import/export regulations set by the RBI and other financial institutions.
  5. Liaise with banks for credit renewals, limit extensions, and maintain strong banking relationships.
  6. Coordinate with external and internal auditors and facilitate audit processes.
  7. Analyse financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business growth.
  8. Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant financial laws and regulations.
  9. Maintain cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  10. Support management with financial analysis and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

  • CMA qualified
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in the infrastructure sector.
  • Proven experience in handling GST compliance and responding to notices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in managing foreign LCs and staying updated on RBI and import/export regulations.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Skills Required:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with banks and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred:

Job Description:

  1. Drafting and preparation of Annual Report, Board Reports and annexure thereon for Annual filing of Financial and Annual Return of Companies.

Legal:

  • Drafting and vetting of MOU, NDA, sub-contracting, Lease, sole selling agent and other agreements.
  • Co-ordination with various lawyers regarding filing of recovery cases, following up on case status, etc.
  • Drafting and sending Notices for non-payment, delay in payment, other issues related to site.
  • Representing company in court.
  • Maintaining register of agreements, review the same periodically and send reminder for renewal.
  • Co-ordinate with Trademark attorney to keep a check on Company's trademark.
  • Provide internal advisory services to people within the Company.
  • Review and draft internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

Job Description:

Objectives of Civil Site Engineer role.
